Dear adventurers,
After a lot of thought, we have made the very difficult decision to hit the brakes on Overlando. We will regrettably not be opening bookings for the 2026 season.
This is not how we imagined things would go. Over the past years, Overlando has given over a thousand travellers the freedom to explore the Caucasus region on their own terms. Our campers have crossed mountain passes, ridges, and parked under the stars in places most people never see. Every rental was a different story, and our guests made life-long memories along the way.
Running an overland camper rental company in this part of the world was always an adventure on its own. We started small, learned as we went, and built something we were genuinely proud of. Like any business, we had our share of challenges, from COVID, political tensions, to rising costs to the realities of operating a fleet on some of the toughest roads. Each time, we found a way through and adapted.
But at some point you have to be honest. And if there is one thing overlanding teaches you, it is that knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing when to keep going.
We want to thank every single person who rented with us. You trusted us with your holidays, your honeymoons, your family trips, and your solo adventures into the unknown. Many of you came back for a second or third time and fell in love with Georgia. Some of you became good friends. That means more to us than we can say here.
A huge ‘didi madloba’ also goes to our team members, who prepared the vehicles, handled handovers, got cars up and running again in the most remote regions, and supported our guests so they could hit the road with confidence. Their dedication and care made Overlando complete.
We do not know yet what the future holds. For now, this is a pause, not necessarily a permanent goodbye. If circumstances change, we would love nothing more than to get the engines running again. We will keep you updated.
